Jade noted the slightly nervous look about Kid Flash and it only fueled her desire to see this through. She so enjoyed messing with Artemis’ sidekick friends in her spare time.
“Live a little,” Jade suggested. “No one has to know about this. It’s just one night.”
Wally studied Cheshire’s smirk, and he still couldn’t shake the nervous feeling. Was she planning something? Was there some ulterior motive?
“One night.” He mulled it over for a moment. “Alright, fine. But no funny business or anything, right?” What did she even want?
“One night,” she repeated, throwing her hair back over her shoulder. “As for no funny business? Well… I make no promises.”
Realistically, Jade wouldn’t try anything stupid, especially since this kid was apparently her sister’s boyfriend, but she figured he didn’t need to know that.
“Now come on,” she said, tugging on his arm, “we’re wasting time.”
Wally’s eyes widened, and he went completely rigid. “I don’t really think that’s, uh, appropriate, you know, because, uh…” He didn’t really know what to say, and quickly he tried to gather his thoughts. “Because I don’t know who you are.” He finally said, but it was a weak lie, and he knew she could see right through it.
He sighed, giving up the charade, his whole body loosening up from his tense stance. “What do you want, anyway?” Make it quick, he mentally added. He needed to get home.
Jade snorted and raised an eyebrow, yanking Wally along as she began walking down the street. “I’ll decide what’s appropriate, Flash Boy. And please, let’s not pretend to be ignorant of each other, hmm?”
Her grin widened. “I don’t want anything per se… Just to have a good time.”
He winced at the Flash Boy comment, but didn’t correct it. “M’kay, sure. Whatever you say, random stranger on the street.” He followed her anyway, his curiosity beating down his common sense. (Not like he had any choice anyway)
He frowned, feeling slightly nervous. “This sounds… great. Yeah, super great. Wonderful.” He didn’t sound excited at all.

Wally jumped, turning towards the sound of his name—or, well, his hero name. Who he saw made his eyes widen.
“Uuuuuh, I have no idea who you’re talking about.” He said quickly. “You should definitely try some other stranger on the street.” He started walking again, aiming to just walk right past her.
Jade’s smirk widened as she speedster attempted to walk right past her. This was exactly what she had wanted out of her night tonight— something new, something different. Perhaps, Flash Boy could give that to her.
“Not even going to offer to buy me dinner?” She tsked, reaching a hand out to stop him. “For shame, Kid, for shame.”

It was a cool night in downtown Central City and Jade Nguyen was out on the prowl. She had dressed to impress that night, for no reason in particular, other than the fact that it had been awhile since she’d had a night on the town. Taking a drag of her cigarette, she allowed her eyes to scan the main street in downtown.
Wally hunched his shoulders and pulled his jacket around him tighter, trying to stay warm in the cool breeze. He was walking down the main street with nothing better to do. He was bored, and when he was bored, he had to move.
Jade stood up from her chair as she finished off her cigarette, stamping it with her boot. She needed to find something or someone to be around tonight. With Roy out of town, and the Shadows keeping her on retainer, Jade really did have nothing to do.
It was then that she spotted him. Red hair. Freckles. Runner’s build.
“Kid Flash,” she murmured, a smirk playing across her lips.
